After communicating last week that DHL set a surcharge for every package, the courier company informed this week that they removed the extra costs for the Americas and Europe region. The surcharges applies ONLY for shipments with an origin of China and Hong Kong beginning on April 8th. The volatility of the times impact decision-making, reason why DHL took another decision afterwards.
FedEx and UPS, are maintaining the decision to suspend the money-back guarantee for Express and Ground services. Signature requirements have also been removed since the beginning of the pandemic for the health and safety of delivery staff and customers.
